FL is for grinding credits, gold, etc... and for some decent free prem tanks.. merely for playing a game you play anyways. 2 FREE prem tanks. Tanks that if I bought would toll me a bout $60 cdn each.
I see no downside to this.

Information technology's okay to have largely cosmetic prestige rewards. But for something that requires a very abnormal, life straining fourth dimension commitment and a fair amount of skill, that it is simply cool looking needs to be clearly advertised. Committing more than than 200 hours in 20 hour/week bursts is a part-time job. And no, it tin't be done every bit an incidental play-for-fun advantage. Playing for fun is counterproductive to making the rank points required to take a shot at this.
WG also periodically offers things that are stiff if not overpowered as hell for rewards. The T95/FV Chieftain is the most overpowered vehicle in the game, see its consummate domination of EU/RU Ranked. The EBR 75, while the marathon was horrible, is a damn nightmare as anyone trying to grind Frontline volition discover. The T34-85M that is currently in Tank Rewards (almost got it) is 1 of the best T6 tanks, period. The TS-five with 0-skill coiffure is fierce, with the DPM to clear unabridged lanes in a T8 or lower match - did marathon for that one because it looked expert.
Its absolutely off-white to hash out if the top advantage for Frontline, which changes the play pace required in the style to pursue, is worth the attempt. Unless you admittedly love Frontline and have your leg in full bandage or something, it'south not incidental or free.

Prestige tenrequires 305,000 rank points. If someone is averaging 1500 rank/hr, that is a minimum of 200 hours to be played, in fixed increments. A player with any obligations at all needs to outright schedule part fourth dimension job hours. Not 20 hours of recreation, not 20 hours playing games, not xx hours playing Globe of Tanks but xx hours in the Frontline manner. If they tin can play every week; if not or not that much the other weeks are bigger.
And then that's merely enough if they are getting Helm or meliorate most of the time. Which means improve stay live and farm effectively. Captain is the realistic design max of the mode considering most of a teamcan't attain Major, let alone General. Not enough points. A pocket-sized % of very good players existence able to practice Prestiges in "only" fifteen hours per doesn't change this. Skillful for them, and good for people no-lifing it who can happily drop 40 hours a week on information technology. Doesn't matter for the design.
For normal situations, going for Prestige x is not in anyway a passive, having fun activity. Information technology's work with quotas and in the case of the Tier Ix, all or nothing. Maybe WG will practice the marathon thing and sell levels but they haven't said so. And then it's entirely off-white for people to know why they are getting into that. Is information technology just a skin, or is it the equivalent of overpowered CW advantage tanks not obtainable otherwise?

Exactly, I have to grind credits anyway so might as well practise information technology on Frontlines and also earn consumables, extra credits, gilt and bonds.

Tier IX does nothing for me. Not playable in Clan Skirmishes or in Advances.
Tier IX is but that grind from Tier VIII to X.

Tin can't compare to Clan Wars Advantage tanks - those are for players who are the cream of the crop and work hard, organizing strats, working together in clan teamspeak, etc to put serious effort into an achievement.
Frontlines is just a pubby fun mode for players who die a lot and demand respawn ability. Have a nail with it, make loads of credits, but to experience like it is an accomplishment to simply click Starting time a bunch of times one calendar week every month is a bit much.
Ahh, so past your logic not clan players are worthless pubbies who don't help keep this game afloat with their money spent in the premium shop and therefore deserve the scraps?

We put in just as much (if not more) effort in as Unicorns considering we are worse players and take to. Nosotros face more than obstacles than Unicorns because we have to endeavor and achieve things with Red and Xanthous players, while we still have to contend with Blues and Purples. We have to try and organize in an inherently disorganized surroundings. Yet, our "achievement" is apparently thought and so little of that WG felt it necessary to hide their chiliad FL prize until we were in too deep to cease playing.
WG doesn't reward Uber players well because of your 'vast achievements'. They reward y'all well because they don't give a rats behind about the bulk of the player base. They fawn over their toadies and screw the rest. They've had that attitude for years and it hasn't inverse one iota.
I'm trading my time for their tanks. That is the very definition of a consensual, economic transaction-hence, not free.

It should have been a legit commencement of its kind truthful premium T9 or a normal T10 - or something similar enough nation blueprints and parts to consummate a T9 tank of your choice. ( or virtually of a T10 )
I'thousand still fairly new here and even I see that T9 reward tanks are useless rubbish.
